Syntax

double hypot(double x, double y)

Arguments

x
First distance.
y
Second distance.

Return

The euclidean distance of the two parameters.

Description

Calculates the hypothenuse (euclidean distance): The distance between the endpoint of two adjoining perpendicular distances. Solves Pythagoras formula; distance^^2^^ = x^^2^^ + y^^2^^
