# ldexp

## Syntax

`double ldexp(double x, int exp)`

## Arguments

**x**
- Double-precission floating point value.

**exp**
- Exponent.

## Return

- Floating-point value equal to x * 2^^exp^^.

## Description

- Calculates the floating point value corresponding to the given mantissa and exponent, such that:
- x * 2^^exp^^

- where x parameter represents mantissa and exp parameter the exponent.
